Though we know the quality of the pearls provided from our pearl farm, you, our esteem customers, may not be sure about what we say. It’s OK. Since we started to do business with friends from Western and Mid-eastern countries 10 years ago, in traditional mode, they always traveled hundreds and thousands of miles to visit our pearl farm and verified the pearls themselves. That was very low-efficient and costy.
With the advance of Internet technology, now we are able to help your purchase a bit easier. Do it online. To ensure the quality of the pearl for your order, we have our pearl products appraised by the 3rd party organization, non-profit government run National Pearl and Pearl products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. It’s a branch of CNAS, the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. Pearls are appraised under international adopted grading standards.
There are mainly 4 logos of the quality accreditation bodies on the pearl quality appraisal. Now we’ll introduce them for you.
ILAC-MRA: ILAC stands for International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, and MRA for Mutual Recognition Arrangement. ILAC is an international organization first started as a conference in 1977 with the aim of developing international cooperation for facilitating trade by promotion of the acceptance of accredited test and calibration results. On 2 November 2000, 36 laboratory accreditation bodies, full members of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), from 28 economies worldwide signed an ‘arrangement’ in Washington, DC to promote the acceptance of technical test and calibration data for exported goods. The arrangement came into effect on 31 January 2001. The ‘ILAC Arrangement’ provides significant technical underpinning to international trade. CNAS joined the organization in 2006.(source: http://www.ilac.org)

CNAS: It’s the abbreviation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. This organization is a government run quality accreditation body. The main responsibility is administrative management of all accreditation centers, testing laboratories nationwide in China. The pearl quality control and appraisal centers are subordinates of CNAS.

CMA: Abbreviation of China Metrology Accreditation. The laboratory tests provide fair-and-square metrological support to accredited appraisal. It’s a technical accreditation. You can see this logo on our pearl appraisals.

CAL: This accreditation bases on CMA tests. It has legal effectiveness for the issued appraisal. You can be more confident to buy a product with CAL issued appraisal.

With the accreditation of the bodies mentioned above, we are confident and proud to say, we are verified saltwater pearl providers! In next post, we’ll show the pearl appraisals of our pearl and pearl products.
